A traditional Cuban pirámide, the H. Upmann No. 2 is well-known for its exquisite, medium-bodied profile and remarkable aromatic complexity. Because of its similar shape, it is frequently compared to the Montecristo No. 2, but connoisseurs value it because it provides a more delicate, sophisticated, and nuanced smoking experience.
The first third The cigar starts off with a smooth, creamy smoke that is characterised by aromas of mild flowers, cedar, and almond paste sweetness. The retrohale may have faint undertones of white pepper.
Second Third: A noticeable roasted nuttiness and salty peanut flavour emerge in the profile. A warm, textured midsection is produced by the emergence of layers of toasted wood, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Final Third: The tastes intensify into deeper nuances of roasted coffee, leather, and dark chocolate in the concluding moments. As the strength gradually increases toward the conclusion, the saltiness frequently changes into a "salted-caramel" finish.
