The H. Upmann Coronas Major is a traditional Cuban cigar known for its accessible, well-balanced style and distinctive presentation in aluminium tubes lined with wood. It has been produced continuously since 1937 and is preferred over pure intensity due to its subtle, nuanced flavour profile.
Most people consider the Coronas Major to be light to medium in strength. It is often suggested as a dependable midday smoke for seasoned enthusiasts or as the perfect starting point for novices.
First Third: Strong earth, sandalwood, and aged wood notes that are perceived as sweet and fragrant. There may also be early notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and chestnuts.
Second Third: As walnut takes the stage, the initial sweetness gradually disappears. It tastes particularly creamy, with notes of honey, vanilla, and creamy cappuccino.
Last Third: Earth and walnut are the main flavours. A faint, fragrant black pepper tingling is frequently used to indicate the finish.

Great cigars!
Bought 3 of these for Christmas. One for my father, one for my brother in law and one for myself. We enjoyed these after Christmas dinner and they were excellent. The tube made them that little bit more special and provides protection if you’re travelling with them. A superb cigar and an event which will be repeated.
