A unique smoke is produced by combining a beautiful, oily San Andres seed wrapper with filler and binder tobaccos from Mexico and Nicaragua that are grown from Cuban seed Criollo.
This medium-bodied smoke is incredibly delicious and potent, with well-balanced and nuanced flavours of wood, coffee, and nuts.
The first family in Mexico's cigar industry is Alberto and Alejandro Turrent, who own Nueva Matacapan de Tabacos S.A. de C.V. In addition to producing some of Mexico's finest cigars, the father-son duo is the nation's biggest cigar tobacco farmer. Many of their tobaccos are key ingredients in many of the most well-known premium cigar brands in America, and the San Andres Maduro leaf they grow outside of Veracruz is known across the world for its quality.
Alejandro determined that a huge factory was not the ideal location for producing the more intricate Casa series in order to maintain the consistency of their flagship Casa Turrent line. Alejandro converted his great-grandfather's home in June into a boutique factory that employs 15 people to create the Casa Turrent line.
