The 15-Year Limitada Gurkha Cellar Reserve Maduro is a limited-edition, medium-to-full-bodied cigar that uses a rich, dark Brazilian Arapiraca maduro wrapper in place of the original Criollo 98. The blend's core is still made with a Dominican Olor binder and a 15-year-old Dominican filler.

First third: There are strong aromas of toasted toffee and bittersweet cocoa in the first part of the cigar. A creamy nuttiness and earthy undertones swiftly counterbalance this. In addition to a zesty Spanish cedar scent, there are hints of white and black pepper spiciness, particularly on the retrohale.

Second Third: The flavours get richer and deeper as the smoking goes on. The notes of leather, oak, and dark chocolate take centre stage. Hints of brown sugar, espresso, and mineral earthiness appear while the creamy smoothness persists. As the profile smoothes out, the peppery sting from the first third fades.

Final third: The cigar achieves its peak strength in the last third, with flavours becoming much more intense. Along with rich espresso and leather, lingering aromas of spicy oak and sweet cedar predominate. The last puffs offer a strong, pleasing flavour crescendo that might be characterised as an earthy, powerful finish.
