With a reddish-brown wrapper that lends it its name ("Colorado," Spanish for "red"), the Charatan Colorado is a medium-bodied cigar renowned for its nuanced and well-balanced flavour profile. It is made by hand at the Joya de Nicaragua plant in Nicaragua. 

First Third: Begins gently with a hint of creamy sweetness and flavours of cedar and roasted almonds.

Second Third: A note of leather and a mild, well-balanced spice are introduced as the profile somewhat deepens.

Final third: the flavours become more intense, with richer woodsy undertones and a more balanced level of spice that finishes cleanly without being unpleasant.
