The largest format in the series, the Davidoff Grand Cru Toro, is renowned for its beautiful, mild-to-medium-bodied character, which includes a smooth finish, flavours of toasted almonds and cedar, and a creamy smoothness. A long and opulent smoking experience is provided by this Dominican cigar.
The Toro is a contemporary, well-liked size whose broad ring gauge permits the complex tastes to develop gradually and purposefully.
First Third
The cigar starts off with a very creamy, smooth smoke that has toasted almond and cedar undertones. There are faint notes of grass or hay, as well as a delicate sweetness that is frequently compared to vanilla or light caramel.
The second third
The nature of the profile becomes a little more earthy and complicated. The persistent creaminess counterbalances the emergence of notes of roasted coffee beans and leather. The retrohale may develop a subtle white pepper flavour that adds a nice taste without being overpowering.
The Last Third
The flavours somewhat intensify in the last third, with an emphasis on oak and the lingering earthiness. It has a clean, pleasing finish that is smooth and never bitter, with a nutty core that is frequently joined by a faint touch of dark chocolate or cocoa.
