Highland single malt Scotch whisky Glengoyne 12 Year Old is renowned for being entirely unpeated. It is renowned for being made using "Scotland's slowest distillation process," and it is distilled close to Dumgoyne Hill, north of Glasgow.
This Glengoyne is delicate, fruity, and highly drinkable; it is completely unpeated, which is unusual in the highlands. An excellent single malt!
The "Golden Rule": Avoid "peaty" cigars (such as some heavy Nicaraguan Habano wrappers) because Glengoyne is unpeated. They will make the whisky taste thin and sour.
Pay attention to: Cedar, Honey, and Cream. These are the three bridges that connect the tobacco to the spirit.
