Known for its complex and well-balanced flavour profile with notes of coffee, cocoa, and spice, the Oliva Serie O Robusto is a well-liked, medium-bodied Nicaraguan puro (all of its tobacco is Nicaraguan, made from Habano seeds).

The first third
Strong aromas of natural earthiness and a noticeable black pepper spiciness on the tongue and retrohale open the first third. This soon settles into a smooth base of dark chocolate and rich coffee, with cedar emerging as the main wood note.

The second third
The spiciness becomes much milder as the smoking continues. The flavours of dark chocolate and coffee become more pronounced and creamy. A rich, well-balanced character that is pleasant on the palate is produced by the prominent notes of cedar and a subtle, natural tobacco sweetness.

Last Third
In the latter third, the flavor intensifies significantly, heading toward a medium-full profile. Richer espresso flavours combine together with the earthy undertones. The cigar ends forcefully, with lingering notes of cedar and leather and a trace of the original black pepper spiciness.
