This machine-finished cigar, the J. Cortes High Class Sumatra, is mild and light to smoke. It is well-known for having a woody, mellow, and smooth flavour profile, which makes it a wonderful option for beginners and people who like a milder smoke. To preserve freshness, the cigars are pre-cut and packaged in aluminium tubes.

First Third: Has a sharp, grassy, herbal character at first. The Sumatra wrapper provides an immediate "zinc" or white pepper tingle on the tongue.

Second Third: Toasted grain undertones, a faint floral scent, and a very dry woodiness (dry cedar) are all released by the spice.

Last Third: Gets a little stronger with a crisp, brief tobacco finish and a bittersweet cocoa note. It never becomes greasy or heavy, and it stays rather "bright".
