Nose: Lively and luxuriously creamy, releasing robust scents of vanilla pod, toasted coconut, and fluffy marshmallow, beautifully lifted by a bright wash of fresh lemon and sweet orange.
Palate: Exceptionally smooth and delicate in body. It unfurls with luscious flavours of sweet vanilla cream, toasted coconut flakes, sugared porridge, ripe white peaches, and soft, melting toffee.
Finish: Crisp and concise, running from a short-to-medium length. It concludes with a refreshing, gently bitter bite of sugared grapefruit peel, neatly balanced by a lingering whisper of warming oak spice and cinnamon.
ABV%: 40
Origin: Lowland (Clydebank, near Glasgow, Scotland)
Pairing: Vegafina Classic, Macanudo French Oak, Trident the Few
The Auchentoshan American Oak Lowland Single Malt Whisky is an entry-level, no-age-statement (NAS) expression from the Auchentoshan Distillery. Introduced in 2014 to replace the brand's "Classic" bottling, it is matured exclusively in first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels. It stands out distinctively in the Scotch whisky industry because it is 100% triple-distilled, a production style that creates an exceptionally light, soft, and vibrant spirit.
