Launched in 2020, the Smoky Ten from Benriach's core line demonstrates the distillery's proficiency with peated malt. In order to complement the peaty wafts at the heart of this expression, master blender Dr. Rachel Barrie and her colleagues used whisky that had been aged in bourbon barrels, toasted virgin oak casks, and Jamaican rum casks. This resulted in a wonderful taste profile of ripe fruit and creamy spices. This is the best dram after dinner!
