"This cigar draws and burns smoothly, and it has a lighter appearance. Richer layers of marshmallow, candied almonds, graham crackers, and a hint of milk chocolate emerge from the first notes of herbs and spices.
One of the most well-known figures in Habanos' history is Ramon Allones. It is one of the oldest brands still in use, having been founded in 1837.
Ramon Allones, who was born in Galicia, was the first cigar maker to package his Habanos in boxes that were labelled and bearing the logo of his company. He was the forerunner of the modern packaging custom.
A blend of filler and binder tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo zone, which are known for their potent and nuanced flavour, fills all the sizes. The Gigantes and the Specially Selected are two of the most well-known sizes.
"Tripa larga, totalmente a mano"—long filler, entirely handcrafted cigars—make up the entire line.
The Ramon Allones Allones No. 3 comes in branded boxes of ten cigars and is 5 5/8" (138mm) long by 52 ring gauge. It is referred to as a Nobleza in Cuban cigar manufacturers and is about 3 mm shorter than the widely popular Montecristo Edmundo. This size was only previously observed in 2017 with the Partagas Serie No. 1 Limited Edition.
A significant figure in the centuries-old tale of Havana cigars is Ramón Allones. One of the oldest brands still in production, it was founded in 1837 and is second only to Por Larrañaga (1834).
Hunters & Frankau held the Ramon Allones factory in Havana and the worldwide brand rights from 1911 until 1927. We are especially happy to see this new addition to the classic range, the first in well over 40 years, which may be understandable.
