Although there is a Maduro variety with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Curivari's Buenaventura BV 600 is a high-end, medium-bodied Nicaraguan puro. It is renowned for its traditional Cuban-style construction, which includes a box-pressed shape and a triple cap.
The BV 600 is continuously given a Medium strength rating. Instead of focussing on overpowering intensity, it aims to deliver a balanced flavour profile and scent.
First Third: Begins with a creamy profile dominated by roasted peanuts, leather, and wood (cedar). A little sweetness akin to graham crackers is frequently revealed in the first puffs.
Second Third: Dark chocolate and coffee become more prominent flavours. The smoke still has a smooth, multi-layered texture, and the woodsy flavours are still noticeable.
Last Third: Earthy undertones and a unique black pepper spiciness that lingers without being overpowering define the aftertaste.
