At the Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera plant, master blender Don Eladio Díaz creates the premium, hand-rolled Kiskeya Torpedo cigar. Its use of uncommon tobacco from the southern Dominican Republic sets it apart. It has a nuanced, well-balanced taste that shifts from rich coffee and wood to creamy and flowery.
Master blender Don Eladio Díaz (formerly of Davidoff) developed this blend at his Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera factory. The tobacco leaves undergo a meticulous 25–45 day ageing process using heat and shade, followed by a slow fermentation to enhance the final aroma and burning characteristics.
With its tapering head (figurado shape), the Torpedo concentrates smoke for a stronger taste delivery.
The first third The cigar has a smooth, fragrant scent that is compared to a "lush forest" when it first opens. The peppery kick from the first pulls is soon replaced by softer, more subtle flavours.
Second Third: Coffee, dark chocolate, and wood take center stage as the profile gets richer. It keeps the mouth's humidity level in check without becoming overpowering.
The final third adds depth with almond and dried fruit notes. The final notes of earth and wood add complexity as the strength and richness increase.
