Black Cavendish tobacco makes up the base of Gawith Hoggarth's American Kentucky 'N' Blend (Nougat), which also has a good amount of gold Virginia and a smooth layer of creamy caramel with chocolate on top. Despite being fragrant, this is a mild blend that will appeal to most people, including novices, experts, and those who don't often venture outside of pure tobaccos. Even though the garnish is sweet, it doesn't overpower the natural sweetness of the Virginia and Cavendish.
The golden brown ribbons wrapped in black strips draw the eye, and the texture makes it easy for the fingers to pinch and pack it into a pipe. It is easy to light and provides a generous amount of smooth, flavourful smoke. Even after a long smoke, this tobacco is still delicious, burning slowly to a dry ash. Wonderful!
