Bob's Flake (Chocolate), also called Bob's Chocolate Flake or Bob's CH Flake, is a well-known, cult-classic, fragrant English pipe tobacco produced by Gawith Hoggarth in Kendal, England.Contrary to its name, it is not a sugary treat but rather a sophisticated, savoury smoke. It is well known for its distinctive crossover profile, which combines traditional English ingredients with a delicate, opulent casing.

Virginia Leaf (82%): A structural, delicious basis from Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Brazil.

Latakia (8%): Provides a leathery, campfire, smoky, and cooling element.

Body, a consistent burn, and a natural nuttiness are provided by Malawi Sun Cured (8%) and Malawi Burley (2%).

Cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of whisky are added as hot-pressed toppings. It also has a little hint of the famous "Lakeland floral" aroma.

On opening smells deliciously of molasses, dark chocolate, and cocoa with hints of smoke and spice.

The Smoke: The palate detects a subtle flowery aroma, vanilla, and creamy milk chocolate at first light. The flavour develops into a deeper, bittersweet dark chocolate as the bowl goes on. The Latakia continues to play a supporting role, offering a woodiness reminiscent of incense that precisely counterbalances the sweetness.
