Herman Upmann was a German banker who fell in love with Cuban cigars and moved to Havana in 1844 to establish himself as both a banker and a cigar manufacturer. His bank dissolved in the early 1920s, but his cigars linger on as a lovely, light to medium-bodied Habano.
H. Upmann's combination is entirely composed of tobaccos grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone for filler and binder.
The brand's branded boxes display gold medals from eleven international exhibitions held in the nineteenth century.

Great cigars!
Bought 3 of these for Christmas. One for my father, one for my brother in law and one for myself. We enjoyed these after Christmas dinner and they were excellent. The tube made them that little bit more special and provides protection if you’re travelling with them. A superb cigar and an event which will be repeated.
