Known as one of the best in its format, the Cohiba Siglo II is a classic Cuban Petit Corona. It is renowned for its exquisite complexity and a distinctive "third fermentation" in hardwood barrels that further refines it. It is part of the Línea 1492 line, which was launched in 1992 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Columbus's landing in Cuba.

This particular blend's tobacco is a "selection of selection" drawn from the five best Vegas de Primera (first-class fields) in the Vuelta Abajo zone's San Juan y Martínez and San Luis districts. This area is regarded as the world's leading tobacco-producing region.

First Third: Has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel that opens with hints of vanilla, light citrus, and cedar. A well-balanced opening is produced by delicate notes of grass and honey.

Second Third: The tastes intensify into white pepper, toasted almond, and roasted nuts. Strong coffee undertones give way to a deeper espresso flavour.

Final Third: The earthiness, leather, and cocoa bring the intricacy to a head. A sophisticated, fragrant aftertaste results from the spice's mild intensification while maintaining harmony with the underlying sweetness.
