The historic Dow's mansion produced the contemporary, customer-friendly Reserve Ruby Port known as Dow's Midnight Port. It was created in 2002 with the express purpose of eschewing stuffy customs and appealing to a younger generation of wine drinkers looking for a friendly Port for casual events. This is a Non-Vintage (NV) blend of quality, youthfully energetic wines that have been mellowed in oak casks to ensure it is smooth and ready to drink right away upon purchase, in contrast to Single-Year Vintage Ports.
