Nose: Powerful and very fragrant. Ripe blackcurrant, dark figs, and stewed plums explode upfront, balanced by elegant wild violets, eucalyptus, dark chocolate, and baking spices.

Palate: Rich, intense, and full-bodied. A juicy surge of sweet liquorice, plum pudding, and black fruit compote sits on a velvety texture with firm, gripping tannins and warming alcohol.

Finish: Long, wide, and well-organised. The initial sweetness yields to a refined, dryish finish with lingering notes of dark chocolate, peppery spice, and dried fruits.

    ABV%: 20%

    Origin: The Douro Valley

Pairing: Las Villas, Andalusian Bull, Olivia Serie V Melanio Figurado, Rocky Patel White Label, Davidoff Grand Cru

Rich, powerful scents of red and black fruit are layered on top of an excellent deep ruby hue. Fruit tastes abound on the palate, along with floral notes of mint and eucalyptus. A long, lingering finish that is well balanced.

A combination of carefully chosen young ports from two or three vintage years, Graham's Crusted is bottled in the year listed on the label without any filtration or fining. It has gained the wonderful taste and fragrance typical of bottle-matured wines after many years of perfect bottle ageing in Graham's cellars in Oporto.

Crusted Port gets its name from the fact that, similar to Vintage Port, it will naturally deposit a "crust" as it ages in a bottle. As a result, it will need to be simply decanted before serving. Before opening, let the deposit settle by standing the bottle upright for a few hours. Then, carefully pour the wine into big, spotless wine glasses.

Decanting is required because this port has developed a thick silt due to its unfined and unfiltered nature. Before opening, keep the bottle upright for a full day. Then, carefully transfer the contents into a decanter.
