Many loyal fans were devastated when Dunhill announced in late 2017 that they would no longer be producing their well-known and beloved pipe tobacco line. To bring back some old friends, Peterson has bravely taken up the flame and rekindled the fire without changing the recipes after two years.

Blend of tobacco: A pure Virginia blend made with specific grades of bronze and lemon Virginias.

Cut: Flake. Depending on the smoker's desire, the deep, rich-coloured flakes can be rubbed off, folded, or smoked whole.

Flavouring: No additional flavourings or top notes are listed, allowing the natural character of the Virginia tobacco to shine. Some older reviews have mentioned a mild, fleeting aromatic quality, but the modern blend is considered natural.

Features of smoking: cool, gradual burn that doesn't bite the tongue when done correctly. It gives the entire bowl a uniform flavour character.

Aroma: Hay, citrus, and grassy undertones that are pleasant to bearable.
