A handmade, medium-strength cigar with a stellar reputation for affordability is the Conquistador Robusto. It is made in Nicaragua using a wrapper from Ecuador with a binder and filler from Nicaragua. The cigar is frequently characterised as smooth and gratifying, creamy, and naturally sweet.
First Third: The flavours of the cigar are sweet, creamy, and mild at first, with occasional notes of leather and hay. A nutty undertone has also been reported by some smokers, with almond undertones becoming more noticeable as the smoke progresses.
Second Third: About two-thirds of the way through, a tinge of spice might appear. There have also been reports of an earthy, dark chocolate profile with a hint of oak.
Last Third: The sweetness and almond flavours can intensify. Usually, there is good structure, ash, and an even burn.
