The premium, complex, and full-bodied Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9 cigar was first made for Drew Estate officials' personal humidors. After a year of post-roll ageing to allow the tastes to develop, the mix is made from tobaccos that come from seven different farms. To guarantee constant quality, only a small number of certified rollers in Nicaragua handcraft the No. 9.
Wrapper: This leaf, which is thick, dark, and oily, is carefully fermented for eighteen months to extract its deep flavour. It is renowned for having sweet and earthy qualities.
Binder: The plantation-grown, flavourful Brazilian Mata Fina binder gives the mix a full-bodied, peppery element.
Filler: The main flavour characteristic is produced by blending certain Cuban-seed tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. The smoke has a rich, earthy, and complex basis thanks to this blend.
Main flavours: Expect rich, complex hints of leather, espresso, and earth.
Secondary flavours: There are also hints of coffee, dark chocolate, black pepper, and a natural sweetness.
Flavour evolution: Throughout the smoke, the blend's intricacy permits a change in flavour. According to several reviews, the cigar starts off with creamy notes that gradually fade out as it goes along, along with a hint of pepper and spice.
