Grown in the Mugron River Valley near Bordeaux, France, the Macanudo Emissary France Toro is a premium, medium-bodied cigar with a 4-year-aged filler leaf. This distinctive European tobacco offers a unique terroir with dark cherry undertones and salty flavours.
First Third: Toasted almond, salted cedar, and a clear, zesty white pepper. Impact of French Tobacco: The Bordeaux leaf adds a delicate, savoury brininess right away. Body & Strength: Has a very smooth, creamy texture and a mild to medium body at first.
Second Third: hints of dark berries, roasted coffee beans, and rich dark chocolate. Impact of French Tobacco: A unique roasted fig sweetness emerges from the berry notes of the French filler. Body & Strength: As the earthy USA, it firmly enters medium region. The broadleaf binder becomes more noticeable.
Last Third: Leather, charred wood, deep earth, and a lingering, sharper black pepper. Impact of French Tobacco: The sweetness disappears, leaving a sharp aftertaste and a dry, refined herbal spice. Body & Strength: Maintains a very smooth texture without burning hot or bitter, peaking at a medium-plus body.
