Received a 91 rating from Cigar Snob Magazine
With a blend of classic rich notes and surprising aromatic highlights, the cigar is renowned for its "stormy" and complex flavour.
First Third
The cigar has an elegant and fragrant beginning. Smokers should anticipate a crisp and smooth introduction with aromas of cream and citrus. The "sturdy spice" and tobacco sweetness that define Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's mixing technique counterbalance this.
The second third
The profile deepens and gets increasingly "mysterious" and "stormy" in the middle part. The rich coffee and camphor wood take the place of the first citrus. The cigar's well-known richness is enhanced by hints of delicious root vegetables and a distinctive cinnamon bark note.
The Last Third
There is a "long and satisfying" climax in the last third. With lingering wood aromas and coriander seeds, the tastes shift into a sweet and spicy finish. The body seems rich and substantial right up until the very end, even if the strength stays in the medium-full level.
