With its unique Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and all-Nicaraguan core, AJ Fernandez's limited-edition Gurkha Year of the Dragon 2024 delivers a medium-bodied profile. In contrast to E.P. Carrillo's darker San Andrés version, this release emphasises a "harmonious balance" of spice, oak, and floral notes. 

The first third The major aromas in the cigar's opening are wood and floral undertones. Mixed fruit, earth, and cedar are among the background notes, while the retrohale has a hint of white pepper.

Second Third: Fruit notes lessen in strength but wood notes continue to dominate. Floral notes remain prominent in the secondary profile, but cedar and pepper tones progressively intensify.

Final Third: Cedar and floral notes become very noticeable in the secondary profile, but the forefront stays rooted in wood. As it finishes, faint hints of fruit and earth remain in the background.
