A limited-edition Honduran puro, the Gurkha Year of the Dragon 2024 by Oscar Valladares was made in association with the well-known tobacco producer. The fourth and last cigar of Gurkha's 2024 Lunar New Year series, it is the only one made completely with tobacco from Honduras.

The cigar's design showcases the superior qualities of Honduran tobacco, providing a smooth yet nuanced experience with a blend of sweet and savoury flavours.

First Third
An intriguing and varied range of notes opens the encounter. Smokers can anticipate a unique almond nuttiness and a blend of citrus and plum brightness, which are counterbalanced by black pepper. The original creamy smoothness is subtly sweetened by hints of vanilla pods.

The second third
The profile gets richer and savourier in the middle part. Caramel and bitter coffee become the predominant flavours. A distinct red wine vinegar acidity and grapefruit peel bitterness that contributes a sharp, sophisticated edge are noted by certain reviewers as the fruitiness shifts into more complex tones.

The Last Third
The "sweet and sour" profile of the cigar lasts till the very finish, maintaining its complexity. The spice is still there but well-balanced, and the almond and bitter coffee flavours are still there.
