The Montecristo Number 5 is modest in appearance and is similar to the other smaller Montecristos. It is well constructed, has a good draw with an even burn which produces clouds of rich white smoke. To begin with the cigar has a very spicy taste which soon develops into a smooth, mild, light cigar producing cocoa and roasted coffee into the bouquet. This cigar can be smoked at any time of the day and will always leave you happy and satisfied. The number fives are a fuller bodied cigar but the smaller size is very manageable and can be enjoyed by most smokers to the last draw.

Loose Boxed: When Montecristo package their cigars in 10's and 25's they are packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our humidors until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.
