Made entirely of Cuban tobacco, the machine-rolled short smokes known as Montecristo Mini Cuban Cigarillos are intended to provide the traditional flavour of the brand in a handy, portable package.

The Montecristo Minis produce a smooth, medium-bodied smoke that preserves the distinctive Montecristo character by using finely chopped filler tobacco from the well-known Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.

The first third Generally speaking, the first third is smooth and mellow, beginning with hints of creaminess and faint sweetness that occasionally evoke honey. There are also noticeable undertones of coffee and toasted almonds or other nuts. On the retrohale, there can be a trace of white pepper spice.

Second Third: The flavour profile becomes more complex and shifts to a mild spice with notes of baking spices and cedar as the cigarillo burns toward the middle third. While the creaminess lingers and adds depth to the experience, the initial nuttiness transforms into notes of supple leather.

Final Third: The spice notes become more noticeable as the flavours come together to form a richer, bolder profile in the final third. If smoked slowly, the present leather and oak flavours can blend with a sweetness similar to caramel or dark chocolate to create a very pleasing finish that stays well-balanced and doesn't become harsh.
