A mild-to-medium-bodied cigar, the Blackbird Jackdaw Robusto is frequently referred to as "punchier" than a standard Connecticut Shade. It is well known for having a creamy, silky character that is counterbalanced by surprising complexity and spicy flavour.

First Third: Begins with a "one-two punch" of hay, cedar, and a hint of pepper spice on the retrohale. It soon develops a creamy texture with citrus zest and roasted nut undertones.

Second Third: Becomes increasingly creamier; frequently likened to chocolate chip cookies or sweet butter. Baking spices like cinnamon and subtle floral aromas start to show.

Last Third: Deeper notes of leather, wood, and a more lingering white pepper spice round out the flavour.
